Born: May 7, 1990, in Pattambi, Palakkad, Kerala.
Parents: Unnikrishnan K (father, a railway mail servant) and K. M. Shobhana Devi (mother, a homemaker).
Siblings: Akhilesh Krishnan (brother, a high school teacher) and Akhila Krishnan (sister, a college lecturer).
Education: Primary education at AUP School, Muthuthala; high school at PHS Pallippuram; vocational higher secondary from VHSE Koppam; B.A. Literature from SNGS & Co-Operative College, Pattambi.
Career
Early Career: Anoop started his career in 2010 with the film “Face in Facebook,” which unfortunately got shelved. He then shifted to anchoring live stage shows.
Movies: He made his film debut in 2013 with “Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus” and followed it up with “Praise the Lord” in 2014. He played the role of Raman Namboothiri in the Sanskrit film “Ishti” (2015), which was screened at the Indian Panorama of IFFI in Goa.
Television: Anoop gained immense popularity for his role as Kalyan in the Malayalam TV series “Seetha Kalyanam” (2018).
Reality TV: He participated in the third season of the Malayalam reality TV show “Bigg Boss Malayalam” in 2021.
Directing: Anoop turned director with the suspense thriller short film “Deja Vu” (2019).
Personal Life
Marriage: Anoop married his long-time girlfriend Dr. Aishwarya Nair on January 23, 2022, at Guruvayur Temple.
Interests: He enjoys traveling, is a fitness enthusiast, and loves dogs.
