The first season of the Malayalam-language version of the Indian reality television series Bigg Boss was telecasted on Asianet from 24 June 2018 to 30 September 2018, lasting 99 episodes. It was produced by Endemol Shine India and actor Mohanlal was the show’s host. The show follows a total of 18 contestants, isolated from the outside world for 98 days (or 14 weeks) in a custom-built house. One or more of the housemates are evicted each week by a public vote.
