
Bineesh Bastin is an Indian actor known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. Born on June 15, 1990, in Thoppumpady, Kochi, Kerala, he grew up aspiring to join the film industry. During his teenage years, he supported his family by working construction jobs like painting and roofing. He later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Albert’s College, Kochi.
Bineesh began his acting career in 2005 as a junior artist in the Malayalam film Pandippada. Over the years, he appeared in several uncredited roles in films like Annan Thambi (2008), Passenger (2009), and Sound Thoma (2013). His breakthrough came in 2016 with the Tamil film Theri, where he played a negative role opposite actor Vijay.
Despite facing challenges, including the loss of his ancestral home during the 2018 Kerala floods, Bineesh rebuilt his life and continued to make a mark in the industry. Some of his notable roles include Tipper Tony in Twenty One Grams (2022) and Sumo Ravi in Son of Alibaba Nalpathonnaman (2022). He is also known for his appearances on the television show Star Magic.
Bineesh is admired for his resilience and dedication to his craft. He has also explored his passion for cooking, launching a YouTube channel during the COVID-19 lockdown, which has gained a significant following.
