Early Life & Education
Binni Krishnakumar was born in Kerala, India. She pursued her education at St. Sebastian High School, Kozhikode, and later attended the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, for higher studies. She also trained in music at Sri Sathguru Sangeetha Samajam, Madurai, which helped shape her career as a singer.
Music Career
Binni Krishnakumar began her music career in 1990 and has performed on over 150 stages. She gained widespread recognition for singing the popular song “Raa Raa Sarasaku Rara” from the movie Chandramukhi (2005). Her contributions to Indian music extend beyond singing—she has trained several renowned singers, including Shweta Mohan.
Family & Personal Life
Binni is married to K. Krishnakumar, a certified musicologist. Their daughter, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, is also a singer and actress, known for her participation in Super Singer (Star Vijay TV) and Cooku With Comali.
