Shiyas Kareem is a model-turned-Malayalam actor and social media influencer from Kochi, Kerala. Born and raised in a middle-class Muslim family, Shiyas completed his schooling at GHSS Cheranalloor Perumbavoor and graduated from Gandhigram Rural Institute, Tamil Nadu.
Career
Shiyas began his career as a model and participated in various fashion shows and ad films. He gained significant recognition in 2018 when he represented India at the prestigious “Mr. Grand Sea International Model Hunt” and won titles like “Mr. Popularity” and “Best Photo Model”. His acting career took off with his debut in the Malayalam film “Veeram” (2017).

In October 2023, Shiyas was detained at Chennai International Airport in connection with a rape and cheating case. He was arrested following a complaint by a woman in Kerala, but the Kerala High Court later granted him interim bail.
