- Birth: Sabumon Abdusamad was born on October 16, 1979, in Kayamkulam, Alappuzha district, Kerala, India.
- Family: He comes from a Muslim family and has one brother and one sister.

- TV Shows: Sabumon gained popularity as the host of the Malayalam comedy TV show “Tharikida”, which focused on pranks on unsuspecting people. Due to the show’s success, he became widely known as Tharikida Sabu.
- Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1: Sabumon participated in the first season of Bigg Boss Malayalam in 2018. He was the thirteenth contestant and lasted the entire 98-day show, ultimately winning the title. Even after several seasons, many people still consider Sabumon as one of the two greatest of all time among Bigg Boss Malayalam contestants along with Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 Second Runner-Up Riyas Salim.
