Biography
Lekshmi Jayan is a talented Indian singer, violinist, television presenter, and radio jockey from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Early Life and Education
Lekshmi Jayan was born on December 21, 1992, in Trivandrum, Kerala. She completed her schooling at Holy Angels’ Convent Higher Secondary School in Trivandrum. She pursued Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at the Regional Institute of Aviation in Trivandrum and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Airline and Airport Management from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore.
Career
Lekshmi began her career as a radio presenter at Best FM 95 in 2007. She also worked as an anchor at Asianet Cable Vision and later joined Raj News Malayalam as a Public Relations Officer. In 2018, she participated in the singing reality TV show Indian Idol 10, where she impressed the judges and audience with her rendition of the song “Ooh La La” from “The Dirty Picture”.
She has also participated in various music reality shows, including Star Singer and Bigg Boss Malayalam 3 in 2021. Lekshmi is known for her versatile singing abilities and has performed at numerous stage shows.
Personal Life
Lekshmi is married and has a son named Aaroh. She enjoys traveling and watching TV in her spare time. She is fluent in four languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Her father encouraged her to pursue a career in singing. She also loves playing the violin and mridangam. Lekshmi shares snippets of her cover songs on her social media accounts and has a YouTube channel where she uploads her singing videos.
