Bhagyalakshmi is a renowned dubbing artist, actress, and social activist from Kerala, India.
Born on November 1, 1961, in Kozhikode, she began her career as a dubbing artist at the young age of 102. Over the years, she has lent her voice to more than 4,000 films, working with numerous actresses from the Malayalam film industry, including Shobana, Revathi, Urvashi, Soundarya, Tabu, and Jyothika.

- Early Career: Bhagyalakshmi started dubbing for child performers and supporting actresses. Her breakthrough came with the film “Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu” (1984).
- Awards: She has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing Artist multiple times. Her autobiography, “Swarabhedangal,” won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Biography and Autobiography.
- Television: She has also been a television host and judge, known for her work on shows like “Selfi” and “Manassiloru Mazhavillu”.
She also participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 as a contestant. - Controversies: Bhagyalakshmi has been vocal about various social issues and has faced controversies, including an incident where she poured black motor oil on a YouTube vlogger in protest.
Personal Life
Bhagyalakshmi was married to K. Ramesh Kumar, but they separated in 2011 and divorced in 2014. She has two sons, Nitin and Sachin.
