Suchithra Nair is an Indian television actress who primarily works in the Malayalam television industry. She is best known for her role as Padmani in the Malayalam show “Vanambadi” in 2017. Additionally, she was one of the contestants in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 in 2022.
Born May 28, 1996, Suchithra Nair hails from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She attended St. Mary’s Increased Secondary School in Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, for her schooling and later completed her higher studies at Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum.
Throughout her career, Suchithra has been involved in various Malayali short films, TV shows, dramas, and theaters. Her passion for acting began early in life, and she has consistently pursued it. In an interview, she revealed, “I always loved to act”.
Suchithra Nair is recognized for essaying negative and grey-shaded roles. Her portrayal of Padmini in the series “Vaanambadi” garnered attention and showcased her acting skills to a wider audience. With her talent and dedication, she has become a prominent part of the South Indian film and television industry for more than five years now.
In the movie “Malaikottai Vaaliban,” Suchithra Nair played the character of Madhangi. The film revolves around an undefeated, aged drifting warrior named Vaaliban, who establishes himself as a hero reigning over a vast desert region. Vaaliban travels with his mentor and father figure, Ayyanar, and his son, Chinnappaiyyan, who energizes the crowd with drums and chants during Vaaliban’s arena fights.
Suchithra Nair’s casting in the film marked her debut in movies after being spotted by director Pellissery on the Malayalam reality TV show Bigg Boss. Before this, she gained audience acceptance by playing the role of Puppy in the Malayalam serial “Vanambadi”, where she portrayed one of the cruellest vamps or “Villathi” on screen.
