Nila Nambiar has spoken openly about her personal journey, confirming that she was born into a Muslim family but later officially converted to Hinduism. Her former name was Asiya, as per News 18 Kerala. She revealed that her decision was influenced by the restrictions imposed by her former religious community, which did not permit the kind of work she pursued. According to her, she faced expulsion from her community simply for participating in a photoshoot wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
Despite her conversion, she shared that she had been a Krishna devotee even before formally embracing Hinduism. She also mentioned that she is married and has two children. Nila, who is known for her glamorous social media presence, has stepped into filmmaking with this project, handling both direction and production. The series also stars Blessy Silvasta Fernandez alongside Alancier. Alancier himself has expressed admiration for Nila, calling her a strong creative force.
