Lakshmi Priya, born as Sabeena Abdul Latheef on March 11, 1985, is a prominent Indian actress known for her work in the Malayalam film and television industry.
Early Life:
Born in Kayamkulam, Alappuzha district, Kerala, Lakshmi Priya was raised in Nooranad after her parents’ divorce when she was two-and-a-half years old. She grew up under the care of her paternal uncle, Latheef, and believed her mother had passed away until she was 14, when she met her for the first time.
Education:
She attended St. Mary’s LPS in Charummoodu, CBMHS Nooranad, and PUM Vocational Higher Secondary School in Pallickal. Her education was cut short as she did not complete her higher secondary education.
Career:
Lakshmi Priya began her acting career at the age of 16 in professional plays. She has since taken on numerous supporting roles in the Malayalam film industry and is also known for her participation in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4.
Personal Life:
She married P. Jayesh, son of musician Pattanakkad Purushothaman, on April 20, 2005, and they have a daughter named Mathangi Jai. The family resides in Kakkanad. Lakshmi Priya converted to Hinduism after her marriage and officially announced her conversion on July 13, 2021.

Her filmography includes roles in movies such as ‘Naran’, ‘Thanmathra’, ‘Chakkara Muthu’, and ‘Madampi’. She has also been a part of various TV serials and shows.
