Deepan Murali is a well-known Indian television and film actor, primarily working in the Malayalam entertainment industry. Born on April 4, 1986, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, he has made a name for himself through his versatile acting skills and charming personality.
Early Life and Education
Deepan completed his schooling in Thiruvananthapuram and pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Animation in Filmmaking. During his school days, he actively participated in dance and drama competitions, showcasing his passion for performing arts.
Career
Deepan began his acting career in 2013 with the TV serial “Sasirekha Parinayam” on MAA TV. Since then, he has appeared in several TV serials such as “Nirakoottu,” “Ival Yamuna,” “Parinayam,” “Sthreedhanam,” and “Seetha”. His debut in the Malayalam film industry came with the movie “Sooraiyadal” in 2014.
In addition to acting, Deepan has also worked as an anchor for the talent hunt show “Ugram Ujwalam” and hosted an Easter program featuring small-screen celebrities. His participation in the reality show “Bigg Boss Malayalam 1” in 2018 further boosted his popularity.
Personal Life
Deepan comes from a Hindu family. His father, Murali, and his mother, Saraswathi, who passed away in 2017, raised him along with his elder brother, Krishnakumar. Deepan married his longtime girlfriend, Maya, who is a bank employee, on April 27, 2018.
