Early Life & Struggles
Born as the youngest of two sons, Arun’s childhood was filled with challenges. Financial independence remained elusive until he turned twenty, despite his brilliant academic performance. He secured admission to a prestigious school, but his journey was far from easy; he slept on a mud floor and woke up each day with an unshaken resolve. At twelve, he began working as a helper for his uncle, a painting contractor, realizing that financial stability was crucial for achieving his dreams.
Initially aspiring to become an engineer, Arun later switched to commerce in higher secondary education, influenced by advice that an MBA would offer better career prospects.
Entry into Media & Advertising
Arun initially aimed for a government job, a common aspiration among middle-class youth. However, life had other plans. His elder brother’s connections introduced him to the media and advertising industry, opening new doors. At seventeen, despite having no prior experience, he joined an advertising company as a marketing executive, quickly proving his ability to generate substantial revenue.
While pursuing his degree at MG College, Thiruvananthapuram, Arun balanced his studies with weekend work. A colleague’s idea about event management sparked his entrepreneurial spirit. Despite his initial lack of industry knowledge, he dove into learning, leveraging his connections to secure manpower for events. His relentless effort and sleepless nights, sometimes working as a housekeeper, forged his resilience.
Entrepreneurial Journey
At nineteen, Arun co-founded an event management company with a friend. Though they later parted ways due to differing opinions, this venture marked the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. Circumstances, rather than a clear vision, nudged him toward business leadership.
Later, Arun pursued an MBA, following his family’s wishes and preparing for PSC exams. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to pivot, leading him to launch a distribution agency with his brother. Despite his vision and ambition, he eventually sold the business and returned to PSC studies, securing a government job. Yet, his passion for entrepreneurship remained strong, and he soon left his stable position to revive his earlier venture—UNISON NETWORKS & SOLUTIONS.

Today, UNISON NETWORKS & SOLUTIONS is a leading brand in South India, offering manpower distribution, event management, and marketing services. The company has worked with prestigious clients such as Kerala Govt, Zepto, Reliance, and Tata, providing employment opportunities to over 30,000 individuals annually.
Acting & Fitness
Beyond business, Arun is also an actor, known for his short film “Can You..?”, which showcases his artistic side. Additionally, he is a dedicated fitness enthusiast, working out daily to maintain peak physical condition.
