Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 Wiki | Contestants

Bigg Boss Malayalam 3 is the third season of the Malayalam version of Bigg Boss. After an abrupt ending to the second season of the show, makers of the show confirmed that the third season of the show would air in February 2021. Asianet announced that the show would air on February 14, 2021, with the show running for 99 days, with the finale on May 23, 2021. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit India for its second wave, makers were adamant that the show would continue until its finale. Despite the cancellation of the eighth Kannada season, producers decided to extend the show by two weeks, with the finale on June 6, 2021. On May 19, 2021, Asianet announced that the show would be temporarily suspended because eight crew members tested positive for COVID-19. Unlike the previous season, Asianet planned on resuming the show after all current housemates receive a negative COVID-19 test.

On May 24, 2021, Asianet confirmed that the contestants were going to be sent home, but the viewers would be allowed to select a winner out of the eight finalists. On July 25, 2021, Asianet announced that the finale would air on August 1, 2021.
