Shiju Abdul Rasheed, known as Shiju AR, is an Indian actor born on August 4, 1974, in Kollam, Kerala, India. He is known for his work primarily in Malayalam and Telugu films. In the Telugu film industry, he is recognized by the stage name Devi Shiju, particularly for his lead role in Kodi Ramakrishna’s film ‘Devi’. Shiju has a diverse acting portfolio, having appeared in over 150 films across various languages including Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, and English, as well as several popular TV series in Malayalam. He participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 and became 4th runner-up.

Shiju’s career spans over 27 years, starting with his debut in the Tamil movie ‘Mahaprabhu’ in 1996, where he played a villain. His breakthrough performance came in the Malayalam film ‘Dosth’ in 2001. He has also been part of international projects like ‘In the Name of Buddha’, directed by Rajesh Touchriver. After taking a break in 2004 to focus on television serials, Shiju made a successful comeback to films with ‘Proprietors: Kammath & Kammath’ in 2013.

He has received several accolades for his performances, including the Best Actor Award by Zee TV and the Best Actor in a TV Serial (Malayalam) for ‘Neeyum Njanum’ by the 15th Manappuram Minnalai Film TV Awards.
